Short-Term Signal Moves to Cash - September 4, 2014

Timer Status:

Short-term timer:  Transitioned to CASH
Medium-term timer:  LONG
Long-term timer:  LONG
Long-Cash Ratio:  1.473, dropped -11% from yesterday

Action:  taking 25% of all profitable positions off the table to lock in gains.  Unloading all positions that are below the waterline, as well as NEW CASH recommendations.  No new purchases.

The right side of the LCR table has now experienced two consecutive days of negative "slope of the slope".  The right side of the table will always lead the left side of the table, and the move to negative numbers may foreshadow a short-term or longer-term pullback.

For now, the left side of the table is still bullish on the intermediate and longer-termed time scales.  Only the short-term time scale is indicating weakness, hence, I've taken some exposure off the table.
